The Narima Bungalow Resort is set in large grounds on an unspoiled section of Ko Lanta s rugged coastline. Our thirty luxury bungalows are set among coconut palms & rainforest trees, tropical plants and orchids. Wildlife include sea eagles and many other birds, monitor lizards and sometimes monkeys. The Narima Bungalow Resort restaurant and snackbar overlook our private beach. All buildings are of natural materials that blend well into our quiet secluded setting. Our focus is on your enjoyment.

We offer you secluded privacy and stylish luxury in one of our thirty-two, architect designed, bungalows. They are set within our beautiful, wild, jungle-gardens.

Each bungalow has breathtaking sea views of distant tropical islands, with a perfect sunset that can be viewed from your private balcony every evening.

The bungalows have both a ceiling fan and air conditioning, a large double bed (22 rooms have an additional large single bed), fully stocked minibar, white-tiled hot shower and western-standard bathroom.

Furnishings are simple in construction and fittings are made from warm natural materials. The bungalows have a spacious, airy feel, with linen drapes on the ceiling and large French windows, which open onto your private roofed balcony, overlooking the Andaman Sea.

The balcony has a 2-person hammock and Thai style reclining chairs made from sugar palm fronds. There are sliding mosquito mesh screens that can be closed during the evening if you want to leave the French windows open.

Modern bathrooms are private but open air in traditional Thai style, with hot shower and western toilets. The large mirror is hand decorated with shells, some of which can be found on Narima s beach.


Water in your bathroom comes direct from the mountain streams on Lanta and is purified by Narima s own water purification system. This water is fresh, clean and pure enough for you to brush your teeth with.

Our terraced swimming pool is on three levels, with sundecks overlooking the beach.


On the highest level we have a jacuzzi whirlpool tub with a large seat and great views of the ocean and beach. The main pool gently slopes to a maximum depth of 1.8m. The child pool is at a lower level just off the beach.

The pools are filled with sweet, fresh, water from Lanta s mountain springs, which is filtered by Narima s own water filtration system, and then gently chlorinated.

The large main pool has an infinity view out to sea and onto the horizon. There is a wide step the length of the pool, which is perfect for reading a book on. The lower level has a small, shallow children s pool.

Narima’s large, airy restaurant provides the central focus of your stay here.

With its breathtaking, high-ceiling, traditional Thai grass-woven roof, stunning views over Narima’s private bay and hand carved wooden furniture, it is a place to relax and read a book as much as somewhere to sample some of Thailand’s fabulous cuisine.

Guests congregate here to socialise, enjoy the cool breeze rolling in from the sea during the evenings, drink cocktails, and of course, to tuck into the fantastic array of Thai and European food, creatively prepared by Narima’s professionally trained chefs.

The menu offers a wonderful variety of food, from light snacks and salads, to a full à la Carte menu.
Only the freshest local ingredients are used to prepare your food. Many dishes can be altered to suit your taste and we have a large range of vegetarian dishes on our menu.

A trip to Ko Lanta is not complete without sampling some of the delicious, fresh seafood that is on offer. We visit the fisherman s market each day to buy the freshest ingredients.

SCUBA DIVING

Two nearby divesites are regularly listed in the world s top ten. Divers from all corners of the world come to enjoy the warm clear waters and view it s amazing variety.

SNORKELLING

This is without a doubt snorkel heaven.

Don t miss a daytrip by boat to Ko Rok, often compared to the Red Sea as offering snorkelling as good as any.

A second trip to the four islands includes a visit to the magical Emerald Cave .

SEA KAYAK

See the marvels of natural mangrove forest which provide the rich variety of sealife around Ko Lanta.

If you re lucky you ll see crab-eating monkeys and some dolphins too.

ELEPHANTS

Thailand has always been known for these gentle giants.

Enjoy the view from way up high above the forest and jungle floor as explorers in Siam have done for centuries.
